Laurel Olszewski: General Music and Choir - Highland View and Canterbury
Mrs. Olszewski began teaching in the Greendale School District in 2005. She teaches Highland View General Music and Choir, as well as Canterbury General Music Grades K, 1, 2, and 4. She won the Teacher of Merit Award for the Greendale School District in 2013. She received her Bachelor's in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and her Master's in Education from Alverno College. She has played with the Concord Chamber Orchestra and Knightwind Ensemble.
Britney Whiting: Orchestra and General Music - Canterbury and College Park
Britney received her BFA in Music Education from Bradley University. Her primary instrument is the cello. This is her third year teaching in the district, prior to which she was a 2009 graduate of Greendale High School. Britney enjoys taking part in performance opportunities such as Greendale Community Theatre Pit Orchestra and the Concord Chamber Orchestra in Glendale.
Michelle Brody: Orchestra - GHS and Highland View
Michelle Brody graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2010 with a degree in Instrumental Music Education. She grew up in Chippewa Falls, WI. This is her sixth year of teaching in Greendale and loves being a part of a community that supports the arts. Brody is involved with ASTA (American String Teacher's Association), and NAfME (National Association for Music Education). In 2016, the Orchestra department received the Employee of Merit Award for the district. Outside of the school day, Brody enjoys coaching the JV Girls Tennis team, performing in the pit for Greendale Community Theatre, and playing for the Concord Chamber Orchestra. Besides music and tennis, she also loves sea otters, snowboarding, and spending time with family and friends.
Jim Hebbe: Orchestra - GMS
Mr. Hebbe will be teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade orchestra for the 2014-2015 school year. He will also be the advisor of the String Squad Music Mob, GMS Chamber Orchestra, and DJ Club.
Samantha Kovach: Band - GMS
Sam Kovach joined the Greendale staff in the fall of 2015. She earned her undergraduate degree in music education from DePauw University, IN, where she studied trumpet with Leonard Foy and student taught in the BOA Grand National Champion-winning Avon School district under Rick Wagoner. Sam earned a Master’s degree with concentrations in both trumpet performance and chamber music performance at UW-Milwaukee, studying with Kevin Hartman. She maintains an active performance schedule, including playing trumpet for the award-winning Greendale Community Theatre. In addition to being the Director of Bands at GMS, Sam is also the brass caption head for the Greendale HS Marching Band.

Mike began teaching in Greendale in 2011 and is an alumnus of UW-Eau Claire with a Bachelors in Music Education. He currently teaches Select Chorale, Men's Choir, Bel Canto and G-Harmony at the High School. When Mr. Jones isn’t in front of the classroom, he enjoys singing and playing piano, playing ultimate frisbee and softball, arranging music for a cappella groups, and digging into projects around the house.
Tom Reifenberg: Band - GHS

Tom began teaching at Greendale High School in the fall of 2001. He received his undergraduate degree in music education from UW-Whitewater (2001), studying conducting under Dr. Glenn Hayes and piano under Dr. Myung-Hee Chung. Tom attained his masters degree in music education from Boston University (2009). A NAfME and WMEA member, he has served on the WSMA state marching band committee and the UWAY Board of Directors. Tom was recently named Wisconsin's representative in School Band & Orchestra Magazine's annual "50 Directors Who Make a Difference" report (December, 2013) and received the B93.3FM Teacher of the Month and Teacher of the Year awards in 2009. He is the co-founder (2003) and music director of the award-winning Greendale Community Theatre, and has music-directed close to 50 theatrical productions throughout the Milwaukee area. Tom is also the organist at Greendale Community Church, beginning his tenure in October of 2013 following eight years at Trinity Lutheran Church in South Milwaukee.
